VO2 Testing & Zoning

VO2 Max is a measure of how much oxygen your body can utilize during exercise. The higher the number = the bigger your motor = the faster, harder and longer you can go.

VO2 Max is a performance test with which we can precisely determine your training and racing zones for Heart rate, Power in cycling, or Pace in running.

We can do a bike test indoor with a Smart trainer - all you need is your bike! Or a Run test on a treadmill or outdoor at a Track.

There are different types of test, depending on what data we are looking to gain.

Muscle Oxygen - SmO2

We can make those measurements, non-invasive, directly on your muscle, in real time. From the results we can determine your current limiting system and base your training on such limitations. This gives us the ability to change the training to your real needs, instead of going only by the standards.
